Delete your Yi account and data
You can start deletion in the app, or request it from this page without installing the app. Deletion cannot be undone. Export any study records you want to keep first.
Delete in the app
- Open My → Delete account and data.
- Sign in, review what will be removed, and confirm.
- If the network fails, the app tells you deletion is incomplete. It never reports a failed deletion as successful.
Request deletion without the app
Email us and state whether you sign in with Apple or Google, along with an email address where we can reach you. We will use a secure account-verification step. Never send us your password, recovery code, decryption key, questions, notes, or other private text.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in identities, sessions, and encrypted key backup;
- encrypted sync records, draft submissions, notification registration, and account-linked support content and on-device interpretation reports on our service; deletion in the app also removes support content and on-device interpretation reports linked to the current installation;
- published cards, comments, and interactions linked to the account.
Data held only on your device was never uploaded to us, so we cannot erase it remotely from this page. If you still have the device, delete local data in the app or clear the app's data in system settings.
Purchase or creator-finance records that must be kept for payment, tax, audit, refund, or fraud-prevention duties are first detached from your account and public pen name. They cannot restore your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Cancel subscriptions separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the store where you bought it to prevent future renewal. Deletion does not automatically create a refund.
