Yi

Know yourself

Another perspective on who you are today.

You may decide quickly at work but need more time in a close relationship. A profile can help you notice tendencies in context. Your real experience can add to it, challenge it or change it.

From understanding yourself to reviewing an action

  1. Know yourself
  2. Ask and study
  3. Act and reflect

Different perspectives answer different questions

Questionnaire results, your own descriptions and cultural symbols appear separately. They are not combined into a single personality score. Basic profiles are planned as free features, without a subscription.

Yi six dimensions

A 24-question reflection on energy, decisions, pressure, pace, change and relationships. It is a reflection questionnaire, not a professional psychological assessment.

Big Five

The new version uses a 50-item self-report questionnaire and five continuous dimensions, rather than fixed personality types. Translations and content require review before release; an adapted version does not automatically inherit the original measure’s validity.

Values

Choose and rank your three priorities from values such as independence, stability, growth, relationships and health. The order helps describe a trade-off; it does not say which values are better.

Your current situation

Describe your energy, stress, urgency and practical constraints. By default this applies only to the current reflection, so a busy week does not become a permanent personality claim.

Bring a profile back to a real situation

Choose which summaries the assistant may use for this discussion, or use no profile at all. Correct anything that does not fit: your actual circumstances come first.

A retest creates a new dated version rather than silently recalculating old results. Before comparing two results, check whether their model, language and version are comparable.

Keep cultural perspectives separate and your data in your control

Birth charts are planned as a separate cultural reflection perspective, without combining them with psychological measures or generating relationship scores. They are not yet available and require licensing, content review and validation.

You can disable a model, correct a description, delete a result and separately choose whether AI may use it. Birth details are excluded from cloud context and share images by default.

Observations about habits must come from records you actively select, with a stated time period and basis. Yi does not infer personality from how often randomly drawn hexagrams appear.

Test an insight through an action

Choose one small action you can take this week. Afterwards, note what happened and what differed from your expectations. Understanding yourself grows from these specific experiences and from room to change your mind.

Basic results and sharing are free features in the new design. Historical comparison, detailed reflection and comparisons across models are Plus extensions. See membership and availability for the release boundaries.

Weekly and monthly reviews place your original questions, saved insights and later reflections together, with links to the records. Sparse material is acknowledged; the app does not invent changes in your life.

Common questions

Must I complete every questionnaire before using Yi?

No. You can read, write down a question or reflect manually. Complete only the parts that are useful to you.

Does a low score mean something is wrong with me?

No. A self-report reflects how you answered at a particular time. It cannot diagnose a mental health condition, and one dimension should not become a label for a person.

Can I share a profile while keeping my journal private?

Yes. The preview selects public fields and excludes raw answers, questions, journal entries and birth details by default. Check each field before sending it.

Start with one real, small question

Read a passage or try a reflection prompt. You do not need to complete every profile first.
